Last day of classes for the week!! Of course it was a long class period, being so excited for the weekend. Next week is going to be a rough one with all the assignments, reading, presentation, a paper and a final to do! Homework is definitely coming with me on the trip to Portugal ☹ Anyway, after class we headed home.
For lunch today we ate with the little boy, Alvero ha he is so precious. He always tries to talk in English a little bit, which is fun to try and help him out. Since he is definitely helping me out! We had this sausage and white bean soup. Even though it was almost 100 here today, the soup was so delicious you could not pass it up. Chata is go good at making all sorts of soups and stews. I thought it was very funny to see in the pot of soup, a whole roasted head of garlic! Not just a clove or two but like the entire thing! (Probably why it was so good ☺)
After lunch we took a well-needed nap since we were up so late from the theatre the night before. When we woke up we just hung out for the rest of the evening, watching TV, painting our nails (Maria has every shade of pink under the sun), and packing for the trip! Pretty low-key night so we could be ready for the long bus tomorrow!!
