Presentation day. Well the scene in the play we acted out is from La Casa de Bernarda Alba. It is the scene at the end of the play when all the daughters and mother finds out Adela (the youngest) is having relations with the oldest daughters fiancé. There is some fighting and a lot of yelling involved; quite a comical yet very tragic and emotional scene. At the end Adela commits suicide and the mother shows no remorse. I think we did a very good job acting as all the characters, even though some of our group members forgot some of their lines—our professor was still smiling and laughing!
Well the rest of the day was strictly set to finish my 5 pg. paper and get to bed at a fairly decent time. But that did not happen... I finished my paper but amidst watching a movie and taking a short catnap. The movie was called Half Light. It was a suspense/horror film. It had a very confusing story line, especially trying to understand it in Spanish. Nonetheless it was still a nice break.
After dinner I was able to turn my paper in and finally get to bed. Tomorrow was going to be a very early morning—it is the holiday of Corpus Christi.
